Laura has built extensive expertise in strategic planning, research, marketing, and organization development throughout her career. She is deeply committed to helping nonprofit executives evaluate their current position and future opportunities and identify their optimal path forward. She is skilled in gathering and synthesizing insights, translating organizational input into aspirational and pragmatic strategic plans, and facilitating leaders and boards. Laura was previously VP of Global Insights (market research) at LEGO. She has an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a BA in Russian and Soviet Studies from Cornell University.

What people don’t expect:
Laura started as a Soviet and Russian Studies major, hunting for subtle clues about the opaque Soviet government. Her interest in the foreign service morphed into journalism, where she worked as a news and magazine reporter before finding her way to consulting.
